ecaco. do you know how happy u guys made mi today? the past week has been a whirlwind of emotions for mi, and today, i just felt that it was such a great way to conclude whatever insecurities i'd been feeling and grappling with the past week. and this is because i have faith that you alltruly mean what u say, about not forgetting mi and all, how i'd always be part of 32nd. "thank you" seems far from adequate a term to describe how grateful and over the moon i feel, cuz i really felt loved, by the com i love! :)
by the way i really must say u guys sure know how to act well. esp yeowch!!! cuz i rmb that my suspicions that sth fishy was goin on started when brendan said, "i believe calvin will be picking up the phone soon." it just sounded so weird. i mean,who talks like that normally right? when they asked us to walk from taka to wisma, i was really puzzled and asked yeowch to contact you all. then when we were asked to walk to cine, i couldn't stand it anymore. i had to do sth. so i told yeowch to test u all and lie that we were alr at cine when we were still at taka to see how u all responded. i also asked him if he was in cahoots with u guys. how dumb can i get man. if he was he's sure know how to cover it up. c'mon he's from ELDDFS! hahaha.. n i got him to do the calling! when he cud have faked everything.. which he did. *glares* hahaha.
anw i had so much fun at suki sushi! thanks sooo much for the treat calvin :) i really stuffed myself!! and gloria, i think it was hilarious when u tried to pick up sth for mi and innocentl flashed it out in front of everyone. haha... i certainly hope no one else saw it except for u, mi and kailing. *blush* cuz u see, i was in sch in the morning then i went to change clothes so had to remove that sth. lol
by the time i arrived at kbox i was alr convinced that i was made to walk arnd cuz everyone was all over the place. hahaha.. and i even believed the gal when she said we were the 200th customer!! when i saw the front board i was stunned momentarily.. then i realised it was just another of ecaco's sweet surprises!! i still can't believe how gullible i can be. argh. but anw it was also gd i didn't suspect anthing cuz the feeling of getting pleasant surprises is really nice and heartwarming. :)
at kbox i realised ecaco really has many talents!! so many of u cud sing! hehe.. and jamie and kailing touched mi wth their own son!!! self-penned i think? even if it isn't i think the thought is alr vv heartwarming :) thanks so much dear chicks!! i love u both :) thanks for ur SWAT shirt too kailing.. hee!
btw i couldn't stop looking at the board on my way home.. think ppl must hae thot i was crazy cuz i kept smiling to myself. haha.. then when i got home i excitedly told my family abt my day! and i think they're happy for mi too, to have found such nice frens :)
then guess what? i looked at the board agn and then... i realised the "I" in my name was missing!! the one that keng fai (i think) did a handstand!! i got a shock and quickly hurried down to trace back my steps to the bus stop. i was searching for it in the grass, the little drain i walked over, the void deck.. and tada!! i found it at the side of the pavement! thank God!! haha. felt so relieved!! thank God for answering my prayers.
anw just wanna say u guys really made my day and i love you ecaco. thanks yeowch too, for ur beautiful pink hardboard card! and i hope my dad will be willing to lend mi his cam to take pics with u all soon. hee. all the best for the year ahead!! i'm sure the com will be great. and i'll always be supporting u from behind. :)

i feel quite guilty that i didn't get a chance to get to know you more. you don't know what you've got until you've lost them. tiffany!!! haha i still remb u are very cute come and wish me happy birthday one day after the real birthday. and i remember you sat beside me during initiation.yes you remembered that too cos you wrote it on my orange paper when we got elected:) so while we can let's remember all the good times we had together! (before we get lao ren chi dai zhen - i realised its quite a common thing on tv serials nowadays right? the beyond the axis of truth 2 and tong xing yuan 2 also all got.okok out of point)

i'll miss you

hello my dearest com.. there are 2 things that i'm very grateful to God for ever since i stepped into hwa chong. One of it is getting into council. from the second week of hc life, i knew i was decided on running for a post in council, even when the PEARLS system was abolished n my parents told me to consider carefully. i rmb i angrily retorted that PEARLS and cca points were nv a reason why i decided to run for council. when i really succeeded in getting in, i couldn't express how happy i felt! i rmb i was standing close to the speaker near my class bench in the right wing, straining my ears as the 31st was reading out successful candidates. they started with apollo.. arts classes.. then s7 classes. then i heard it. i screamed n jumped for joy.. hugging my beloved classmates who were constantly supporting mi.
then came eleco camp. i was in AZTECS, and in there, i met great ppl alr. i nv knew yeowch and i wud be partners in the near future. but i rmb all the fun we had during the camp.. how i was made to act as a pregnant women with wenxi as my husband. jinrui was good mountainslope and alice the gal he fell for. yeowch was my son.. glori the narrator. gloria, runi, sam and kai him were also in aztecs. i rmb i ate pink paint and bathed for 3 hrs after initiation. i also rmb elections at LT5 and i rmb that they always ended late, but somehow, i felt happy that i was sitting in that room with this group of ppl. i rmb feeling impressed by calvin's sppech as he ran for ecaco chair. by glori's composed candour as she ran for secretary, jamie's spontaneous leadership as she asked us to cheer when she ran for o1 chair, kailing's crystal clear voice as she ran for MAF chair. i felt wowed by the gr8 ppl we have in council, and once agn, i felt so blessed i was one of the elected 44.
after exco was elected, it was my turn to run for sth i really liked - singing. i rmb calvin asked mi and yeowch to sing ye shi shen qing as we all went to KAP to have dinner.. how we were singing qing zhen qing shen on the bus there. and i rmb thinking yeowch was such a nice and enthu guy. i looked arnd mi as we were eating in KAP, and then and there i knew ecaco was going to be wonderful.
and how right i was. you guys have shown mi how understanding, caring, fun and initiative you can be. i feel so small beside you all sometimes. calvin, i've always respected u lotz as our boss. u've been so terrific! i'll miss being under ur leadership. brendan, u've always made mi laugh. and you've been a nice secretary too :) jamie. u've got gr8 initiatives and u nv fail to brighten everyone's day. thanks for being so sweet! kailing. my dear MAF comchair. u've been caring, helpful and determined. thanks for being so understanding too.. paul. i rmb dancing with ya a few times and thinking, wow, this guy sure knows how to make a gal feel secure when she dances. except for that one time during the lindy hop dance when i fell on my butt (haha) u've been bubbly n witty! shuhui.. u really have gr8 hospitality and initiative! real helpful, caring and composed too. gloria, the sweet gal. u're such a nice fren to have! caring, kind and easy to talk to. kengfai, i talked to ya that day over sms yeah? told u frankly about the times i wasn't vv happy with ya. but now we've got it worked out. :) u're such a joker at times esp during formals (hahaha) and u sure know how to make mi laugh! i know u like to tease mi.. lol and i really see u putting effort, like wad i told u in that sms. :) now u're the only 1 from appletizer in council..jiayou ok? yeowch. goodness. i've so much to say to u but i dunno where to start. u're a gr8 fren, always encouraging mi, supporting mi. u're caring and sweet, kind, helpful and magnanimous, funny and enthu. i'm so glad i've u as my fellow sic. u're fantastic mate. thanks so so much.. i'll miss working with u a lot. glori, my sister guide! haha. u've always had a clear head and beneath that calm demeanour, i know u're one fun fren to talk to cuz u can get so crappy tgt. :)
so i just wanna say a big thank you to you all, ecaco, for all the love and concern you've poured over mi. i know i'll be missing out on so much, and i'll be missing you so much too. thanks, gloria, kailing, yeowch, calvin, keng fai for ur smses that really touched mi.
tmr is the day i officially step down, and also the last time i'd be singing the sch song on the bridge with yeowch. thanks agn, for all the beautiful memories u all have left in my heart...
